Richard Allen BA(Hons) Chartered MCIPD is an experienced personnel adviser after graduating with a BA honours in Politics and Economics and a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management in 1991. Richard has over 18 year’s personnel management experience, including operational management, gained predominately with Next Plc, The Boots Company and global accountants KPMG.

Richard is a qualified Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and his specialist interests include employee relations, recruitment and selection, and performance management. Richard also serves as Membership Adviser on the CIPD branch in Leicestershire and has written articles and spoken on radio about personnel issues.

His knowledge and practical experience extends to a broad range of personnel specialisms, including recruitment and retention, employment law, employee development, performance and change management.
